Two landmark albums from the early years of Gentle Giant return to CD in the U.S. on November 6th!
The album that started it all, Gentle Giant (1970), and one of the band’s most adventurous releases, Acquiring the Taste (1971), will be available on CD in the U.S. for the first time in nearly 40 years.
Both feature updated audio from the most recent Alucard reissues and are housed in digipaks.

Gentle Giant (1970)
The album that started it all. Gentle Giant’s self-titled debut introduced the band’s distinctive blend of progressive rock, blues, classical influences and complex arrangements, laying the foundation for the adventurous sound that would define the band.
Acquiring the Taste (1971)
One of Gentle Giant’s most adventurous early albums, Acquiring the Taste pushed their sound even further, moving between hard rock, chamber music, medieval counterpoint and early electronics while showcasing the band’s remarkable multi-instrumentalism.
